Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated. Since March 1st 2024, our racing tips are 16.08 points up, with 41 tipped winners and six placed each way selections in that time.

Tip 1 - 2:35 Lingfield - Composite

Appier and Way Of Life battled for a very tight race over course and distance nine days ago, and it’s no surprise to see those two at the top of the betting again. However, our focus turns to Composite, who returns to the all-weather after a poor couple of runs on the turf. He impressed on the all-weather in the winter with two wins and a third from three starts. Incredibly disappointing at Newmarket last month but surely can’t run that badly again. We’re willing to chance another big run on the all-weather here.

Tip 2 - 2:50 Carlisle - Belsito

It should be safe enough to draw a line through most of these, as the majority of the field appears to be hopelessly out of form. The top three in the betting should dominate. Belsito often forfeits ground at the start but ran a cracker last time out to finish third to Warminster at Ayr. A 2lb pull and a more even break at the start should be enough to reverse that form. Rainbow Rain should have a decent chance off this mark but hasn’t been able to capitalise on it in a couple of recent runs. Belsito looks the one to beat.

Tip 3 - 3:50 Carlisle - Li Ban

After an eye-catching debut in which she ran very green, Li Ban made some progress next time out while still looking like she lacked the pace required for five furlongs. The step up to seven furlongs could be exactly what she needs, and if that brings about some improvement, she has enough ability to give the favourite, who is a short price considering she also is stepping up in distance, something to think about.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
