Until we know precisely how many online sports betting licenses will be issued in Puerto Rico, and the tax rate on online sportsbooks is finalized, it will not be possible to predict accurately how much the government of Puerto Rico will earn in tax dollars. However, one 2021 projection suggested that as much as $87million could flow into the government's coffers in the first five years.
